Frequently Asked Questions
What counts as a valuation?
Each time you submit an equipment valuation request - entering make, model, year, hours, and condition - that counts as one valuation. Viewing a previously generated valuation report does not count toward your monthly limit.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Monthly plans can be cancelled at any time with no penalty. Annual plans are billed upfront and are non-refundable after the first 30 days, but you can cancel to prevent renewal.
Do you offer a free trial?
Yes - every paid plan comes with a 14-day free trial at the Pro level. No credit card required. At the end of the trial, you select your plan and billing begins.
What auction sources do you cover?
We currently aggregate completed sale data from Ritchie Bros, IronPlanet, and Purple Wave. Additional sources including Equipment Trader and dealer-submitted private sales are on the roadmap.
How current is the auction data?
Our data pipeline ingests new auction results daily. The data you see is typically 24-48 hours behind the live auction results. Historical data going back up to 24 months (Pro) or full history (Enterprise) is always available.
Is IronValue a certified appraisal service?
No. IronValue provides market-based valuations derived from auction data for dealer pricing and decision-making purposes. Our valuations are not certified appraisals and should not be used for insurance, lending, or legal proceedings. For certified appraisals, consult an ASA or AMEA accredited appraiser.
